The Petersen Consulting Group is a specialist town planning firm established by Director, Mark Petersen in 2008.
We are experts in the development field, specialising in preparing and lodging Development Applications (DAs), Due Diligence and Feasibility Reports, Rezoning Applications and providing town planning project management services.
Director, Mark Petersen has 20 years of town planning experience, having worked in local government both in Australia and overseas and in private practice for companies such as GHD and UrbisJHD before setting up his own business.
Mark oversees all development projects personally, ensuring that projects are not left to less experienced or junior staff, as often occurs in larger practices. In addition, we take pride in what we do. While we always act in a client’s best interests, this is balanced with ensuring that projects are acceptable from an economic, environmental and social perspective.
Having grown up and worked on the NSW’s Mid North Coast for the majority of his life, Mark has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of town planning issues in the region. He has strong, established relationships with a wide variety of related professionals, ensuring that more complex town planning projects are dealt with by professional, cost effective subconsultants.
Mark’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Environmental and Local Government Law.
